UN envoy to Yemen urged Israel to stop its attacks

The special envoy of the United Nations (UN) for Yemen, Hans Grundberg, expressed his great concern regarding recent events in the country, which is subject to continuous aggression by the Israeli Zionist State.

Civilian targets and military sites linked to the Yemeni offensive in favor of oppressed Palestine have been the target of Israeli Zionism.

Grundberg emphasized to the Zionist authorities that “Yemen cannot become the scene of a wider geopolitical conflict” and reiterated the urgent need for Tel Aviv to put an end to its aggressions, supported politically, economically and militarily by the Trump Administration.

He urged all those involved to use existing diplomatic channels to prevent further destabilization in the region and stop the escalation.

The offensive of the Yemeni Armed Forces in solidarity with Gaza began after the start of the current Israeli siege against that Palestinian territory, in October 2023.
