UN reported that 97% of schools in Gaza have been damaged by Israel's violent actions

More than 9 out of 10 schools, including those in the URNWA, will require a complete reconstruction

This Monday, the United Nations Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Middle East (UNRWA), reported that the education system in the Gaza Strip is on the verge of collapse, as nearly 97% of schools in the enclave have been damaged by the military actions of Israel's Zionism.

“The education system in the Gaza Strip is on the verge of total collapse: almost all school buildings have been damaged during military actions,” the agency reported in X.

The statement states that according to the latest satellite images, “more than 9 out of 10 schools, including those of the URNWA, will require complete reconstruction or major repairs to resume their activities.”
