Last Monday, the regional director of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) for the Middle East and North Africa, Adele Jodr, denounced that the conflict in the Gaza Strip has become a “war against children” and the area is already a “children's cemetery”

The United Nations Children's Fund also described the Israeli conflict against Gaza as “a war against children” and called for an immediate ceasefire to save them.

During an event held in Tokyo and picked up by Japanese public television NHK, Jodr stressed that “whenever there is an attack, children are dead because Gaza has a very young population concentrated in a very small area”.

HispanTV highlighted that around 37,000 children in Gaza suffer from severe malnutrition due to food shortages.
