Trade union headquarters all over Brazil convened this Wednesday, the 15th, the March of the Working Class in Brasilia, a major mobilization that emerged after the recent Conference of the Working Class in which labor priorities were established for the next five years.
The document resulting from this meeting, which details the fundamental demands of the workers, will be delivered directly to President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva at the Planalto Palace.
Among the main demands that motivate this day are the reduction of the working day without affecting salaries, the definitive elimination of the 6×1 schedule and the necessary regulation of the work carried out through digital applications.
In addition, the trade union movement demands decisive measures against subcontracting, the end of violence against women in the workplace and the regulation of collective bargaining for public servants across the country.
Clemente Ganz, who serves as coordinator of the Forum of Trade Union Federations, explained to local media that this set of priorities responds to a strategic vision for the national future.
According to the representative, the agenda seeks to ensure that the participation of workers in the development of Brazil translates into a real increase in wages, a significant improvement in living conditions and a strengthening of labor protection and social security. Today's mobilization thus represents a unified effort to position the needs of the working class at the center of public policies for the next five years.
