The US airline United Airlines announced on Tuesday that it will reestablish direct flights between Houston (Texas) and Caracas in August, a connection that it suspended in 2017.

The first flight will depart on August 11 at night from George Bush International Airport in Houston to Simon Bolivar International Airport in Maiquetía.

This is the second direct route between the United States and Venezuela to be reactivated, after the resumption, on April 30, of American Airlines flights between Miami (Florida) and Caracas.
