The Autonomous Institute of Library and Information Services of the state of Mérida invited the XXI Reading Fair “United by Reading” to be held this coming Wednesday, April 2, at the “Simón Bolívar” State Central Public Library, in the Libertador municipality.
Through its account on the social network Instagram, the Institute specified that the activity that has the support of the Ministry for Culture will start at 9:00am.
It should be noted that last December in the Andean entity, the Venezuelan International Book Fair (FILVEN) was held under the slogan “Reading transforms”, an event held at the Elbano Méndez Osuna Training Center and Ateneo Jesús Soto where book presentations, forums and discussions were offered, as well as spaces for dialogue between writers and the public.
On that occasion, workshops were held, and the children were able to enjoy the Children's Pavilion, a program that offered different activities designed for children in order to promote a love for reading from an early age, information from the website of the Ministry for Culture.
