The representative of the Iranian delegation and director of public relations at the Fatima International Institute, Zahra Khajani, reaffirmed her country's support for the Bolivarian Revolution and President Nicolás Maduro during the World Festival of the Anti-Fascist International For a New World held in Caracas.
“From our people of Iran they always have our support; we know that the distances are very long, but with our hearts we are very close to each other (...) and we wish success to President (Nicolás) Maduro, the elected and legitimate president of Venezuela,” he said.
He also emphasized that during his visit to our nation he also had the opportunity to accompany the swearing in of President Nicolás Maduro to assume his new presidential term 2025-2031, which allowed him to confirm the peace, joy and tranquility that is being breathed in the streets of Venezuela.
“We have witnessed the swearing in of President Nicolás Maduro; what we have seen here is peace, joy, we have seen the decision taken by the people of Venezuela, which must be respected,” he said while condemning the campaign that imperialism and its satellite countries are promoting against Venezuelans, just as they have done against their country for 46 years.
He specified that Western governments support and promote fascism using sanctions, asset embargoes and blockades on the purchase of essential supplies such as medicines and food, only to put pressure on the Peoples who have decided to be free.
“They (imperialism and their lackeys) create problems and they want to solve them, but in their own way, but the Peoples are not going to allow that, the Peoples decide for themselves (...) the Peoples are going to resist,” he said.
As for the actions of the extreme right in Venezuela, he described them as “a ridiculous thing” and specified that the extremist María Corina Machado acts as if she had a written script.
“Even a child can already see the ridiculousness of what she says (...) You don't understand and the show they have, well, one day it will end,” he said and pointed out that Venezuela is a country with a great history, of a people that have resisted and decided with their votes to Nicolás Maduro as President.
For this reason, he reaffirmed that Venezuela will continue to advance and will be much better than it is now; in addition, he highlighted the honor of being in our country, as well as extended the invitation to visit and get to know his beloved homeland of Iran.
