Until May 8, the partial closure of the El Junquito - La Yaguara highway will remain closed

The road from kilometer zero to kilometer one in the direction of El Junquito - La Yaguara will be closed between 9:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m., which will last until May 8, as reported by the Ministry of Popular Power for Transportation through its account on the social network Instagram.

The measure is implemented due to the rehabilitation work on the La Yaguara - El Junquito highway to improve road conditions for the benefit of drivers. In this regard, through the aforementioned office, an official notice was issued to drivers to take their forecasts and to move forward with work to improve the road.

“We urge drivers to take their forecasts as of April 23, in view of the work carried out by the labor force for the welfare of the people of Venezuela,” the statement said.

The first phase will extend from km zero to km four, and then continue the works until km 13, for the benefit of more than 160,000 inhabitants.

This work is part of the National Road Care Plan 2026, and includes the asphalting of the first kilometers, the repair of edge faults, the cleaning of drains and the replacement of pipes by Hidroven.
