38 fatalities and 102 injured were the result of the bombing carried out by the United States (USA) on Thursday night against the oil port of Ras Issa, in the Red Sea, Yemen, according to international media reports.
Al Masirah, the Houthis' television channel, indicated in its first report that the US attack had caused the death of 17 individuals and injured about thirty.
During the early morning of Friday, 38 people were reported, while confirming that 102 were injured, in a report that was replicated by the Qatari network Al Jazira.
The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) stated that it destroyed the Ras Issa fuel port, under the control of the Houthis, who they say are deriving economic benefits and from these infrastructures to market fuel and finance their operations.
The port of Ras Issa, together with those of Al Hudeidah and Salif, hosts approximately 70 percent of all imports and 80 percent of the humanitarian aid that reaches Yemen, according to the United Nations (UN).
