More than ten U.S. cities displayed messages on pedestrian bridges to express their opposition to the military aggression launched by the Donald Trump administration against Venezuela on January 3.
The messages were seen in Ohio, in Virginia towns such as Arlington, Warrenton and Franconia, as well as in Oakland and Burlingame, in California, Paramus, in New Jersey, Norton and Duxbury, in Massachusetts, Dallas, in Texas, and Park City, in Utah.
The texts showed phrases such as “Enough of the war, pig”, “We condemn this illegal war”, “The archives are not in Caracas” and “No to the war for oil”.
The initiative was organized by the activist collective Visibility Brigade, which used public spaces to disseminate their position against actions taken against the South American country.
