U.S. Secretary Pete Hegseth reveals “imperial logic” of changing laws to wage war

The US Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, defended with total shamelessness the alleged US military attacks against vessels in the Caribbean, which he described as #actos of war against narco-terrorists”, justified, according to his “logic” as new rules for waging war.

“We have all the necessary authorization. They are classified as foreign terrorist organizations,” Hegseth said in an interview with The Sunday Briefing on Fox News.

Experts in international law and some U.S. legislators have expressed concern about the use of military force in international waters. They point out that these actions could violate due process and lack a clear legal basis, both under U.S. law and within the framework of international law.
