This Wednesday, a federal judge in Colorado, the United States (USA) temporarily blocked the application of the Enemy Aliens Act, through which officers in the service of Donald Trump accuse any undocumented Venezuelan of terrorism and deporting, without even a trial involved
According to detailed information in the press, Judge Charlotte Sweeney ruled in favor of two Venezuelans who were arrested for their alleged association with the criminal terrorist group Tren de Aragua.
In this regard, migrants and their lawyers have always denied that they have a connection with this criminal group.
Due to the verdict, no deportations can be made from the District of Colorado for the next 14 days.
The judge based her decision on the fact that last week the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that anyone deported under the Foreign Enemies Act has the right to an appellate hearing in federal court before deportation.
