This Tuesday, the Senate of the United States (USA) approved in the first procedural vote the aid package of 95 billion dollars for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan, after the House of Representatives approved the funds, after months of delays due to differences over million-dollar spending between Republicans and Democrats.

The aid package includes 60.8 billion dollars for Kiev, 26.4 billion for the Jewish country and 8.1 billion dollars for Taiwan.

Reuters announced on Tuesday, citing two US officials, that Washington is preparing a billion dollar package for Kiev, which would be allocated as part of the 61 billion dollar package.

CNN previously reported that most of the U.S. aid to Ukraine had already been deposited in warehouses in Germany and Poland and is ready for shipment.

The new aid for Kiev includes about 23 billion dollars earmarked for the replacement of US weapons, arsenals and facilities; more than 11 billion dollars that would finance current US military operations in the region; about 14 billion dollars would help Ukraine to purchase advanced weapons systems and other defense equipment.
