On Wednesday morning, three people were injured by gunshots at the facilities of the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in the city of Dallas, local police sources said in statements to the WFAA channel, quoted by Russia Today (RT).

An armed man with evidence of a self-inflicted gunshot wound was found on the roof of an immigration prosecutor's office near the scene of the events. It is considered suspicious.

Among those injured are at least two illegal migrants detained by ICE, according to media reports. The Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, confirmed the shooting at the immigration center and the death of the alleged perpetrator.

US Vice President J.D. Vance urged an end to violence against the immigration office despite the brutal actions against foreigners that have occurred since the arrival of the Donald Trump administration to the government. “The obsessive attack on law enforcement, in particular ICE, must stop. I pray for all those injured in this attack and for their families.”
