Vacila Caracas takes 10 blocks from La Candelaria this Saturday to enjoy Carnival

This Saturday, March 1st, from 4:00 in the afternoon to 1:00 in the morning of Sunday the 2nd, the streets of the parish of La Candelaria in Caracas will be taken over by the “Vacila Caracas” program, which will carry out various activities as part of the Caracas Happy in Peace and Joy 2025 International Tourist Carnivals.

“We are going to be a boulevard for a day, walking freely through the streets, enjoying everything beautiful that La Candelaria has to offer. Bring your costume and let's celebrate Carnival! Caracas Is Waiting For You!” , the authorities of the Mayor's Office of Caracas reported on their social networks.

For this purpose, the circulation of ten (10) streets around Plaza La Candelaria will be closed, between Puente Anauco and Alcabala, Urapal, La Cruz, Candilito, Ferrenquín, Peligro, Miguelacho, Puente República and Tracabordo corners.

In this initiative, which is being held as the first edition in the parish, they will be able to enjoy entertainment, art exhibitions, costumes, fashion shows and mascots, tastings and various stands or kiosks of various kinds.

La Candelaria thus becomes, for one day, the epicenter of a massive event that will bring together more than 12 thousand people.

The team from the Secretariat for Economic Development of the Mayor's Office of Caracas reported that all necessary measures have been taken to address security, emergency exits, first aid care, and other services and forecasts. 12 parking lots have been established nearby.
