The Vatican reported that Pope Francis' clinical condition is improving and for this reason his non-invasive mechanical ventilation treatment has been suspended.
The Vatican explained that the Pope continues to make progress in his motor and respiratory physiotherapy therapies and that although lung infections have not been completely eliminated, however, the doctors assured that they are under control and the values of the clinical tests are within normal limits.
He also specified that the Supreme Pontiff combined therapies, moments of prayer and some light activity.
Pope Francis has been hospitalized since February 14 at the Gemelli Polyclinic in Rome, and his evolution continues to be closely monitored by the medical team.
