Velásquez Araguayán: More than 7,000 tons of asphalt have been placed on Troncal 17 in the state of Zulia

The Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, reported on significant progress in the rehabilitation work of Troncal 17, which crosses the Cabimas and Santa Rita municipalities in the state of Zulia.

“To date, more than 7,000 tons of asphalt have been placed on a 4.8-kilometer stretch, as part of an ambitious plan that aims to apply 30,000 tons of asphalt mixture,” Velásquez said from the social network Instagram.

He stressed that this effort seeks to guarantee the safety and passability of roads in the west of the country, reaffirming the commitment of the Bolivarian Government to the well-being of the Venezuelan people.

“We strengthen our commitment to the people,” said the minister, while stressing the importance of these works to improve the quality of life of citizens and strengthen road infrastructure in the region.
