The head of the VEN25+ Campaign Command of the Great Patriotic Pole Simón Bolívar (GPPSB), Jorge Rodríguez, announced that they adhere to and celebrate President Nicolás Maduro's proposal to convene a great summit of all the heads of state in the world, for peace and against war.

Rodríguez asserted that President Maduro has just sent a letter to world leaders to request that a summit be held for peace and against war, in order to stop the barbaric onslaught of the Zionist entity of Israel against the people of Iran.

“Solutions to stop the war must always be diplomatic, negotiated, between the parties, to get rid of the terrible threat that today hangs over existence on the planet,” he said.

He also asserted that the Simón Bolívar Great Patriotic Pole Campaign Command joins because Venezuela is an example for peace. “We have always promoted peaceful solutions to any type of dispute that occurs in countries,” he added.

He emphasized that President Maduro also called for the summit to be collectively led by the Arab League, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Gulf Cooperation Organization and the BRICS and with the commitment of global peace powers such as the People's Republic of China and the Russian Federation, in addition to having the full and active participation of the Nations of the Global South committed to multilateralism and with peace.

In addition, the head of State proposed that a nuclear-weapon-free zone be created in Western Asia and that the summit should make a demand to the Security Council for an immediate mechanism for nuclear disarmament in Israel.

Israel is the only country that possesses nuclear weapons that are profoundly lethal and threatening to the peace of the planet and to the security of the human species. Iran does not have nuclear weapons as it has been certified by all the world's atomic energy verification bodies,” he added.
