The Venezuelan
Weightlifting delegation continues to win medals at the 1st Bolivarian Youth Games Sucre 2024, in Bolivia.
The Venezuelan Dionangel Vargas
won the silver medal, in the 61 kg weightlifting category,
after lifting 107 kg at the start, 131 kg at the start and a total of 238 kg.
In addition, Alexander Mota climbed to
second place on the podium in the 67 kg category, after lifting 103 kg at the start,
127 kg at the start and a total of 230 kg.
Lissandro Rivero also won
the silver one, but in the 55 kg category, lifting 93 kg at the start, 116 kg at the start, for a total
of 209 kg.
Meanwhile, in the 49 kg category,
Bárbara González also won silver, after lifting 62 kg at the start, 80
kg at the start and for a total of 142 kg.
While Roxines Polanco won third place on the podium, in the 55 kg category, after lifting 69 kg at the start, 92 kg at the start and for a total of 161 kg.
