Venezuela and Azerbaijan strengthen academic cooperation in diplomatic training

In the framework of strengthening international academic relations, the general director of the Institute for Higher Diplomatic Studies “Pedro Gual” (IAEDPG), Tatiana Pugh, held a working meeting this Thursday with the ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan and concurrent in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Ruslan Rzayev.

The meeting took place in the Yellow House, the historic seat of Venezuelan diplomacy, and took place in an atmosphere of cordiality and mutual understanding.

During the meeting, both authorities addressed issues related to cooperation between diplomatic academies of both countries, stressing the importance of promoting the exchange of knowledge, training experiences and joint programs that contribute to strengthening cooperation between Venezuela and Azerbaijan.

Director Pugh reaffirmed the IAEDPG's commitment to continue promoting international strategic alliances in order to consolidate itself as a reference space in the training of professionals in foreign policy.

For his part, Ambassador Rzayev expressed the interest of the Republic of Azerbaijan in strengthening academic ties with Venezuela, highlighting the value of intercultural dialogue and educational cooperation as fundamental pillars for the development of bilateral relations.

This meeting represents a significant step in consolidating academic diplomacy and building bridges of cooperation between Caracas and Baku.
