Venezuela and Barbados consolidate strategic alliance to strengthen food security for both peoples

The Minister of People's Power for Productive Agriculture and Lands, Vladimir Padrino López, reported that this Monday, October 5, he held a working meeting with Shantal Munro-Knight, the Minister of Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition of Barbados, with the firm intention of continuing to consolidate our strategic alliance.
On her social networks, Padrino López noted that “President Delcy Rodríguez has actively promoted relations with the Caribbean, and as a result, today we held an extraordinary working meeting with Dr. Shantal Munro-Knight, Minister of Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition of Barbados, with the firm intention of continuing to consolidate our strategic alliance.”
He stated that the agricultural sector is the perfect space to demonstrate that integration between sister nations is synonymous with mutual benefit and complementarity.
“Through commercial and technological exchange, Venezuela provides its productive and agro-industrial capacities. Sharing our technical experience in processing strategic items and boosting bilateral cooperation allows us to strengthen the food security of both peoples,” he emphasized.
He said: “Integration is, without a doubt, the true victory of the peoples!”
