In Belarus, the Venezuelan Diplomatic Mission met with
the Education Commission of the Executive Committee of the city of Minsk to
deepen cultural exchange between the two nations.
With the firm intention of continuing to strengthen bilateral
relations, the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in the Republic of Belarus held a productive meeting with
the president of the Education Commission of the Executive Committee of the city of Minsk, Marina
Aleksandrovna Ilyina; the vice-president of the Education
Commission, Olga Evgenievna Smirnova ; and the director of the Educational Institution of
Minsk No.
139.
During the meeting, the
cooperation projects that this diplomatic mission, through the “Simon Bolivar”
Latin American Cultural Center, is planning to carry out during the year
2025, in the cultural and educational fields, were discussed. These projects aim
to promote Venezuelan cultural riches and consolidate the friendship that unites
Venezuela with the brotherly Belarusian people.
The occasion also allowed us to visit the facilities of
School No. 139, where a permanent
exhibition on the life of Commander Hugo Chávez was inaugurated in 2016. This educational space represents a
symbol of brotherhood and cultural exchange between both nations.
The Venezuelan Diplomatic Mission stresses the importance of
continuing to advance bilateral cooperation to ensure the success of joint
projects and strengthen strategic ties. These
shared efforts underscore the commitment of both nations to building a
more prosperous and collaborative future.
