Venezuela and Belarus reaffirm their cooperation ties

Venezuela and Belarus reaffirm their ties of cooperation, as reported by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic, Yván Gil, on his Telegram channel.

Gil held a meeting with the Belarusian ambassador to Venezuela, Dmitri Derevinski, in which both delegations analyzed bilateral relations and the progress of the joint agenda.

During the meeting, Gil expressed the Bolivarian Government's gratitude to President Aleksandr Lukashenko for his firm position in defense of Venezuelan sovereignty and for his request for the return of President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores, who were kidnapped during the U.S. military aggression against the country.

The authorities reiterated the ties of cooperation and agreed on the importance of continuing to strengthen relations, working in strategic areas of mutual benefit.
