Venezuela and Brazil analyze the trade war affecting Latin America

The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yvań Gil, reported that this Thursday, August 21, in the context of the Summit of Amazonian Countries in Bogotá, he held a fruitful meeting with his counterpart from the Federative Republic of Brazil, Mauro Vieira.
In his account on the social network Telegram, he stated that “during our conversation, we addressed bilateral issues and regional geopolitics, focusing on the trade war affecting Latin America, as well as the advances and challenges faced by CELAC and the Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization (OTCA)”.
He also specified that on behalf of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, “we also share a detailed presentation on the fascist aggressions facing Venezuela, reaffirming our firm defense of national and regional sovereignty.”
