Venezuela and China strengthen cooperation for strategic development

The Minister of People's Power for Industries and National Production and president of the International Center for Productive Investment (CIIP), Alex Saab, held a meeting with representatives of the People's Republic of China, to explore new alliances in key sectors of the Venezuelan economy.

During the meeting, the CIIP reported on its Instagram account that Venezuela's attractiveness as a reliable destination for foreign investment was highlighted, thanks to its diversity of natural resources, qualified labor force and a growing domestic market.

Government policies that seek to optimize the business environment and attract foreign capital were also addressed.

For its part, the Chinese delegation reaffirmed its interest in strengthening trade ties, stressing the importance of economic cooperation in strategic areas such as technology, finance and energy.

This collaboration, based on mutual respect and support for multilateralism, has made China a key partner for Venezuela in Latin America.
