The National Institute for Training and Socialist Education (INCES) of Venezuela and the National Learning Service (SENA) of Colombia signed a Memorandum of Understanding this Thursday to strengthen cooperation in technical-professional training between the two countries.

The document, signed at an official ceremony with the presence of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Latin America, Rander Peña, and the Colombian ambassador to Venezuela, Milton Rengifo; is intended to establish a strategic alliance between the two institutions to coordinate joint activities and promote comprehensive cooperation in the field of technical education.

One of the main goals of the instrument is to implement a dual qualification program, which will allow citizens of both nations to obtain certifications recognized by INCES and SENA, regardless of the country in which they reside, an initiative that represents a significant step towards the unification of educational standards and the mutual recognition of the competencies acquired in technical training.

The president of INCES, Wuikelman Angel, highlighted the importance of this collaboration, highlighting the common points between both institutions and the need to exchange experiences to promote integral development in the region.

Meanwhile, the director general of SENA, Jorge Eduardo Londoño Ulloa, emphasized his institution 's commitment to the technical training of youth and welcomed this initiative, which will contribute to the growth and development of young people in both nations.
