Venezuela and Egypt update bilateral cooperation in science, technology and telecommunications

The Minister of People's Power for Science and Technology, Yván Gil, reported that this Monday, August 17, he held a meeting with the ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Venezuela, Kareem Amin, with the objective of updating bilateral cooperation in the fields of science, technology and telecommunications.

On his social networks, Gil said that “we have also talked about the approval of an agreement for the exploration of outer space for peaceful and scientific purposes.”

“Thanks to this meeting, we have managed to establish potential areas of cooperation as proposals for the agenda of the Second Venezuela-Egypt Joint Commission, scheduled for this year,” he said.
