Venezuela and Germany advance a bilateral agenda based on international law

The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, this Saturday, January 10, held a meeting with the German ambassador in Caracas, Volker Pellet, in order to draw up a road map that would strengthen bilateral cooperation and energize exchange mechanisms between the two countries, based on principles of respect for international law and legality.
During the meeting, Gil reported, on his account on the social network Telegram, that he filed a formal complaint for the actions of the United States of January 3, described by Caracas as illegal, and which left a balance of more than 100 civilian and military victims.
He also asked the German representative about the situation of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro and the First Lady Cilia Flores, pointing out that these events constitute a serious effect on the institutional order and on national sovereignty.
Following the guidance of the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez, the foreign minister confirmed that diplomatic channels and constructive dialogue are the only way to channel differences and overcome controversies.
In that regard, he stressed that Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy prioritizes understanding between States, cooperation and non-interference as pillars for a balanced and respectful international relationship.
