To continue his work schedule in New York,
United States (USA), this Friday the Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of
Venezuela, Yván Gil, held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Grenada, Dickon
Mitchell, to strengthen cooperation relations between the two nations.
Through his Telegram channel, Gil said that he transmitted a fraternal greeting
to the Prime Minister from President Nicolás Maduro.
Both leaders met in Caracas last April, when they
reaffirmed their shared commitment to advancing sustainable development and strengthening
Caribbean friendship.
“We agreed on the need to continue consolidating the
strategic economic cooperation road map agreed earlier this
year, in addition to underlining our commitment to expanding cultural and
academic exchange, and strengthening our multilateral alliances for mutual benefit,” the Venezuelan diplomat
emphasized in his message.
