The Deputy Minister for Latin America of the Ministry of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Rander Peña, held a meeting this Friday with the Foreign Minister of Honduras, Enrique Reina, as part of the working meeting on human mobility held in Mexico.
The Venezuelan diplomat congratulated the role of Honduras as co-host of this important migratory meeting, convened by presidents Claudia Sheimbaum and Xiomara Castro. “We express to him our commitment to continue working together for the happiness of our peoples,” he said.
This meeting, held on January 16 and 17, seeks to “manage regular, safe and orderly migration from a humanitarian perspective, as well as to integrate migrant populations; and to strengthen international cooperation to address the migratory phenomenon, from its structural and conjunctural causes, and in its full cycle”.
