Venezuela and India strengthen scientific and technological cooperation agenda

The Sectorial Vice President of Science, Technology, Ecosocialism and Health, Gabriela Jiménez, held a meeting this Thursday with the ambassador of the Republic of India in Venezuela, PK Ashok Babú, in order to strengthen the agenda of scientific and technological cooperation between the two nations.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology, Jiménez explained that during the meeting, “fundamental issues such as cooperation in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and the development of traditional, natural and ancient medicine” were addressed.
The Minister of Science and Technology also recalled that both nations have different cooperation agreements to advance digital transformation, “for the development of free software and technological applications using Artificial Intelligence”.
He emphasized that the Bolivarian Government, headed by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, has maintained a policy of cooperation with the world for the development of peoples.
“Our country, led by President Nicolas Maduro Moros, is advancing a firm policy of cooperation and exchange with the world, based on mutual respect and the self-determination of peoples,” concluded the minister.
