Venezuela and Mali reaffirm alliance and common positions at the UN General Assembly

The Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, held a meeting this Tuesday with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Mali, Abdoulaye Diop, in the context of his participation in the 80th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN), which is being held in New York.

During the meeting, both diplomats reaffirmed their binational alliance and commitment “to technological exchange and joint development, at the same time that we have strengthened our common positions on multilateral issues,” the Venezuelan Foreign Minister explained on his Telegram channel.

This meeting reaffirms more than 40 years of diplomatic relations between the two nations, which have been governed by a historic commitment to promote peace and security, shared visions towards the same destiny, particularly the fight against imperialism, territorial defense, the development and well-being of peoples.
