The Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Raúl Cazal, held a meeting with the Mexican ambassador to Venezuela, Leopoldo de Gyvés de la Cruz, to define an agenda of bilateral cultural cooperation with an emphasis on artistic and traditional exchange.
According to information from the Ministry for Culture, the meeting, held at the diplomatic residence, made it possible to draw strategic lines in areas such as literature, theater, cinema and cultural events, based on the principle of reciprocity between both nations.
The Deputy Minister of Image and Space Arts, Mary Pemjean, also participated in the meeting, who accompanied the construction of this agenda aimed at strengthening cultural ties.
As part of the initiatives, both delegations exchanged proposals for the celebration of the Day of the Dead in Caracas, a holiday that has established itself as a cultural bridge between Mexico and Venezuela, with joint activities that integrate traditions of both peoples.
The approach is part of a historic relationship of cultural cooperation between the two countries, which has promoted artistic exchanges and the recognition of their shared identities.
