Venezuela and Namibia promote initiatives for youth in both countries

The ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Namibia, Magaly Josefina Henríquez González, held a meeting with the president of the National Youth Council (NYC), Patience Masua, who represents more than 177,000 young people through 121 councils across the African country.

During the meeting, held at the headquarters of NYC, Masua highlighted Namibia's solidarity with the Venezuelan people in the face of the recent military aggression by the United States (USA) and the kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores.

The meeting established a framework of cooperation between the Embassy of Venezuela and NYC, with the objective of promoting cultural, educational and sports exchange programs that strengthen youth leadership and integration between the two peoples.

The Venezuelan diplomat reaffirmed Venezuela's commitment to working together with Namibia on initiatives that dignify youth and make them protagonists of a shared future.

Both parties agreed on the importance of effectively implementing the agreements signed between Namibia and Venezuela, with the objective of empowering youth and preparing them for a future of opportunities.
