Venezuela and Oman sign two bilateral cooperation agreements at the UN

The Minister of People's Power
for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil Pinto, held a meeting with his counterpart
from Oman, Badr bin Hamad Al-Busaidi, regarding his coincidence
at the 79th session of the
General Assembly of the United Nations (UN), which is taking place in New York.
According to information published on the chancellor
's Telegram channel, the meeting served to sign “new agreements aimed at
strengthening our bilateral cooperation and expanding our ties of friendship”.
“ Diplomatic representation is currently maintained at the Ambassador level through the Venezuelan diplomatic mission in Riyadh and the Omani embassy in Brasilia. On June 21, 2023, the Venezuelan ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, David Velásquez, concurring from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, presented his Credentials to His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, at the Al Barakah Palace,” the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry reported.
