Venezuela and Qatar strengthen communication and mutual cooperation

The Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, met this Monday with the ambassador of the State of Qatar in Venezuela, Rashid Fetais, to strengthen communication and cooperation between the two nations.

Through his Telegram channel, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister noted that during the meeting they also analyzed “the geopolitics of our respective regions and we reaffirm our commitment to continue working for friendship, cooperation that benefits both nations and peace diplomacy.”

Venezuela and Qatar maintain a solid diplomatic relationship established on May 24, 1973, which has evolved into agreements in various strategic areas, including commercial, energy and tourism, among others of mutual interest.
