Venezuela and Qatar to strengthen cooperation with the expansion of productive projects

The president of the International Center for Productive Investment (CIIP), Alex Saab, this Wednesday, the 17th, held a meeting with the ambassador of the State of Qatar in Venezuela, Rashid Mohsin A. Fetais, with the objective of reviewing productive issues and strengthening the bonds of reciprocity between the two nations.
The information was released by the CIIP, in its account of the social network X, in which it states that at the meeting Saab and Mohsin highlighted the importance of moving forward in expanding the work agenda, to boost the economy through the development of productive projects.
The International Center for Productive Investment is the institute responsible for the promotion of national and international investments, for the stimulation of the nation's productive apparatus.
Currently, Caracas and Doha have 50 years of friendly relations and strategic cooperation, which were strengthened during the Government of Commander Hugo Chávez and were raised to a new level with the visit of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, to Qatar, in 2022 and that of the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, to Caracas, in March 2023.
Venezuela and Qatar maintain technical cooperation ties with various bilateral agreements in the areas: economic, judicial, customs, oil, sports and air transport, among others that aim at mutual development.
