Venezuela and Russia review plans to strengthen inbound tourism in the country

The Minister of People's Power for Tourism, Ali Padrón, held a working meeting with the Deputy Minister of International Tourism, Leticia Gómez, and the Russian Consul in Venezuela, Kirill Abramov, to address issues related to tourism.
Through his official account on the social network Instagram, the minister asserted that they talked about the arrival of Russian tourists to Venezuela, and we also reviewed the plans to be implemented to continue strengthening Receptive Tourism in the country.
International tourist visits to Venezuela in 2024 experienced an increase of 202%, and it should be remembered that at the end of July alone 455 Russian tourists arrived at Santiago Mariño Caribbean International Airport, in the Díaz municipality in the state of Nueva Esparta.
Through the Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism, the National Government reaffirms its commitment to promote Venezuela as a first-rate destination, where more than one million international visitors are expected to arrive in the coming years.
