“Caracas and Basseterre established diplomatic relations on October 31, 1983, which in recent years has been marked by the principles of solidarity and complementarity derived from their shared membership in the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Peoples Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP), of which Venezuela was a founding member in 2004 and Saint Kitts and Nevis formalized its accession on December 14, 2014.”
