The spaces of the Diplomatic Mission of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, were propitious for a fruitful meeting between Ambassador Juan Carlos Fernandes, and businessmen from Vietnam's agricultural sector, interested in learning about opportunities for cooperation and investment in the country.
At the meeting, Ambassador Fernandes pointed out the agricultural potential that the Bolivarian nation has, in addition to highlighting competitive and comparative advantages, such as land fertility, excellent climatic conditions, productive capacity and access to public services, favorable for foreign investment.
Similarly, according to a press release replicated by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), the meeting allowed for a brief introduction to the AgroAlba project, a topic of vital relevance for the country and Latin America, as it is a project that aims to strengthen food sovereignty in the region.
The participating businessmen interacted with the ambassador and clarified doubts about the benefits of investment in the South American nation and identified possible areas of collaboration in areas such as rice, sorghum, corn and the use of technology and machinery for agricultural use.
