Venezuela applies Peace Diplomacy with comprehensive care to Colombian displaced persons

This Sunday, through the Simón Bolívar Humanitarian Task Force, the National Government continues to provide comprehensive care to those displaced by the violence that occurs due to the armed confrontation in the Catatumbo region, in the North of Santander, Colombia; the Deputy Minister for Risk Management and Civil Protection, Alm. Juan Carlos Oti Paituvi, assured that with this action Venezuela is leading the Diplomacy of Peace.
Oti Paituvi, accompanied by the mayor of the José María Semprúm municipality of the state of Zulia, Darío Díaz, reported that following instructions from the Sectorial Vice President for Policy, Public Security and Peace, Cap. Diosdado Cabello Rondón, are caring for compatriots and Colombians who are victims of violence.
“This has happened on other occasions and as always the Venezuelan people, through the Peace Diplomacy of our commander President Nicolás Maduro Moros, we support them and when the conflict ends they return to their territory,” he said.
He also highlighted the commitment of the Venezuelan State to union and collaboration with sister countries “our brothers in Colombia count on this People, their Armed Forces and the entire executive train, not only Venezuelans but also Colombians who today are going through this phase of crisis and here we welcome each other with all the love in the world”.
