Venezuela at peace: Government assures that security alert issued by the US seeks to create a perception of non-existent risk

The Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela notes that the security alert, concerning our country, issued by the United States Department of State is based on non-existent stories aimed at manufacturing a perception of risk that does not exist.
The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, this Saturday, January 10, published an official statement on the social network Telegram, in which it is stated that the Venezuelan Government assures that these actions seek to manufacture a perception of artificial risk regarding the country's internal situation.
The statement highlights that the nation is in a state of absolute calm, peace and institutional stability.
It details that all populated centers, communication routes and security devices operate normally under the supervision of the State.
It was also ratified that the Bolivarian Government maintains exclusive control of the Republic's weapons to guarantee citizen tranquility.
