This Saturday, April 4, the heart of Venezuela will beat with force to the rhythm of four strings, in a vibrant demonstration of identity and cultural sovereignty that will take our music from the most emblematic squares to the deepest corners of the national geography.
The “titan of the woods”, declared Cultural Heritage of the Nation on April 9, 2013, stands today as the greatest exponent of our Venezuelanity and unites the people in a single sound identity.
In this spirit of national pride, an unprecedented deployment has been designed that includes 44 activities in 21 states of the country throughout the month of April. This great festival is estimated to reach more than seven thousand people, which reaffirms that four is the soul of our traditions and a symbol of belonging that resonates in every Venezuelan home as a standard of our joy and freedom.
For this central day of Saturday 4th, the agenda is intensified with 18 high-impact activities that will cover the states of Aragua, Carabobo, Cojedes, Delta Amacuro, Guárico, La Guaira, Mérida, Miranda, Monagas, Táchira and the Capital District. From master concerts to pedagogical meetings, the program seeks to strengthen our roots through the learning and execution of this instrument, which is the living essence of our history.
In Caracas, the main celebration will take place in the Plaza de la Juventud, in front of the National Art Gallery (GAN). Starting at 4:00 p.m., the public will be able to enjoy the concert “Our Four Celebrates the 4th”, a gala that will bring together the talent of Ensemble Four, the group “Suena 4” and the majesty of the National Typical Orchestra (OTN) to pay tribute to the sound that defines us before the world.
This national mobilization invites every citizen to feel part of a story that is written with chords of homeland. For more details on the schedule and meeting points in each region, the community is invited to visit the official Instagram profile @mincultura_ve.
