Venezuela celebrates the birth of Grand Helmsman Mao Zedong (+press release)

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela joined the celebration of the Chinese Government and People for “the anniversary of the birth of the Great Helmsman, Mao Zedong, the undisputed leader of the popular revolution, who forged the history, together with millions of comrades, of a new phase of renewal, emancipation and advances of the entire Chinese society”.

In a statement published by the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, through his Telegram channel, Venezuela highlighted the great strategist that Mao Zedong was in the fight for the liberation of the homeland against invading and colonialist forces.

In addition, he recognized the achievements achieved by the People's Republic of China, after a historic feat that has led it to become a world reference and model today.
