The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela celebrated this Sunday the “great victory of dignity” in Ecuador, following the results of the Popular Consultation, held during this day, in which the People rejected the surrender policies of the ultra-right president Daniel Noboa.

“From the land of Simon Bolivar, we send a deep embrace and congratulate the Ecuadorian people, heirs of the great patriot and revolutionary Manuelita Sáenz and General Eloy Alfaro. Today, the majority of people rose up to say NO to the surrender policies promoted by a corrupt government linked to drug trafficking, obtaining a historic political victory,” said Venezuelan Foreign Minister, Yván Gil, through his Telegram channel.

Gil highlighted the demonstration of greatness given by the People of Ecuador, who took on “the path to the reconquest of popular victories and a new phase of struggle against those who wanted to destroy it with corruption, violence and subjugation.”
