Venezuela climbed a couple of places in the last FIFA ranking, after moving from 50th to 48th.
Vinotinto came in 48th place with 1465.22 points after beating Australia and losing to Canada in the friendlies of the FIFA date.
The ranking kept Spain in first place with 1877.18 units and Argentina in second, being the best in South America with 1873.33 points.
The November ranking is one of the most important in the current world championship cycle, since it determined that Spain, Argentina, France, England, Brazil, Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany will be, together with the hosts United States, Mexico and Canada, the seeds of the World Cup draw, which will take place on December 5.
