This Sunday, July 28, the first
vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello,
exercised his right to vote, accompanied by his family, at the Rafael María Baralt Educational Unit in El Furrial, Monagas state.
In that regard, after voting, Cabello emphasized that the exercise of the right to vote is being carried out throughout Venezuela without any problem.
“Venezuela comes out today to vote in peace and we are obliged to guarantee that peace throughout the national territory, before, during and after the elections,” he said.
He also indicated that those who bet on violence were left wanting it. “Today, Venezuelans are betting on peace and sovereignty (...) This town has demonstrated a very high level of citizenship and of loving and protecting its institutions,” he emphasized.
He reaffirmed that all security agencies do their job to ensure that the People exercise their right in peace and tranquility.
