Venezuela congratulated Nicaragua on commemorating the Day of National Dignity

Through a Telegram post by Yván Gil, Venezuela congratulated the people of Nicaragua and co-presidents Daniel Ortega and Rosario Murillo in celebrating the Day of National Dignity.

In that regard, he explained that this date is commemorated in honor of General Augusto C. Sandino and his opposition to allowing intervention in his country and defending sovereignty.

“We wish them a day full of national unity and a renewed spirit of struggle for sovereignty,” he concluded.
