Venezuela congratulates the Islamic Republic of Iran for holding parliamentary elections

In an official statement, the Bolivarian Government congratulated the people and Government of the sister Islamic Republic of Iran for the celebration of the democratic exercise carried out in the elections for the Consultative Assembly in which the members of that country's parliament were elected, as announced by the Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, in a publication on his official account of the social network X, @yvangil.

In the same way, through the letter, the government of constitutional president Nicolás Maduro Moros extended its congratulations to the Islamic Republic of Iran for holding the 6th elections for the Assembly of Experts on March 1, 2024.

The president of Iran himself , Ebrahim Raisi, expressed his gratitude for the high popular participation in the parliamentary elections and the Assembly of Experts. “This presence, full of passion and intelligence, was his other jealous blow to Iran's stubborn opponents,” he said on the social network X.
