Venezuela congratulates the United Arab Emirates on the anniversary of its independence

The Bolivarian Government, on behalf of President Nicolás Maduro, expressed its most cordial congratulations to the United Arab Emirates on the occasion of the commemoration of the historic day of December 2, 1971, when seven emirates proclaimed their independence from the United Kingdom.

The information was shared by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, through his Telegram channel, highlighting the importance of this date for fraternity and cooperation between the two nations.

“As members of OPEC, Venezuela and the United Arab Emirates share a common destiny based on sovereignty over their resources and the well-being of their peoples. On this significant anniversary, the Bolivarian Government renews its firm commitment to friendship and cooperation between our nations,” said Gil.
